Hormones and Cancer (1/2) Next>

Hormones maintain all of the metabolic reactions on a cellular level to maintain balance and homeostasis in the body. The use of hormone blockers is important because we are going to drop the excess levels of hormones. We don't want to give any chance for the tumor to get excess hormones to grow, so we maintain only enough hormones to facilitate metabolic reactions on a cellular level.

We combine hormone blockers with radiation, chemotherapy, and vaccines, and have seen remarkable changes. The patients respond quickly and is more easy to deal with the tumor. By blocking hormones the tumor needs in order to grow, the tumor becomes more sensitive to destruction by the other therapies.

The approach of using hormone blockers in cancer was limited to organs like breast cancer, utero, and prostate, but it can now be used with all types of tumors, combined with peptides, lipids, vaccines, chemotherapy, and radiation. The patient is going to respond better.

The use of hormone blockers in combination with the different approaches makes a big difference; encapsulating and shrinking tumors more rapidly and successfully for patients.
